Job description

Smith Dental Care is opening a new office in Savannah. Our offices are open from 8:00am – 8:00pm seven days a week. We are looking to hire an Office Manager to help with our fast-growing team. This is a position that will build into a long-term career as we continue to open new locations. Applicants must have a strong-willingness to learn, previous management experience (preferably), and potentially be open to relocate to any one of our expanding dental offices (relocation packages available to the right candidate). *Compensation based on experience*

Schedule:

Full-time, 3 days a week 8am-8pm, and may be scheduled to work a weekend day

Minimum Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Respond to clinical and operational issues in a timely and professional manner under the Office Manager.
  • Coordinate the day-to-day execution of office practices that increase productivity and efficiency.
  • Manage internal office procedures and practices.
  • Train and supervise staff.
  • Schedule appointments for patients as well as assist with payment plans and insurance claims.

Qualifications:

  • Previous management experience preferred (2+ years)
  • Dental experience preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication and motivation skills as well as ability to supervise others
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)) standards.
  • Excellent computer skills for email correspondence, financial transactions and scheduling of appointments
  • Efficient multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Maturity, tact, integrity and respect for patient confidentiality

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.36 – $23.00 per hour
