Scheduling Coordinator

Job Description

Smith Dental Care is looking for flexible employees who excel in a fast-paced work environment with growth opportunities in our new Administration office in Athens, GA.

We require candidates to have excellent customer service skills, answer phones quickly, schedule appointments and greet customers in a friendly welcoming manner. We offer 12 hours shifts from 8 am- 8 pm. As a Scheduling Coordinator, you are often the first experience potential customers have with Smith Dental Care and we value the importance of customer service on the highest level.

Employees within our Dental Scheduling Center will be trained on our phone systems, HIPAA guidelines, and software. We want to foster an environment where we make our team feel like a family and we welcome you to apply with your resume.

Scheduling Team Lead

Full Job Description

Smith Dental Care is looking for flexible employees who excel in a fast-paced work environment with growth opportunities in our new Administrative Office in Athens, GA. Team Leads provide leadership and support for the Scheduling Agents relating to servicing the customers. In this role, you’ll supervise and create a happy team while helping individuals develop their skills. We expect and hire for excellent customer service skills and attitude. Employees within our Dental Scheduling Center will be trained on our phone systems, HIPAA guidelines, and software.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Achieve Contact Center and individual quality and productivity goals by assigning clearly defined work assignments
  • Provide onboarding and ongoing refresher training as needed
  • Provide guidance and leadership skills to Scheduling Agents and assist with management and direction
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and work with management to implement positive changes

Working Traits

  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate independently and verbally with personable and effective writing and speaking skills
  • Ability to work in a normal office environment utilizing a computer approximately 75% of the time

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership skills in coaching, developing, and training
  • Demonstrated history of meeting performance objectives
  • Medical Scheduling: 3 year (Preferred)
  • Office experience including inbound/outbound call experience: 3 year (Preferred)
  • Lead supervisor experience: 2 year (Preferred)
  • Spanish Language (Preferred)
